RESULTS & REFLECTION
Over my two-and-a-half years at Onmo, my work extended far beyond delivering a redesign — I helped strengthen how the organisation approached product, design, and research. From leading a full brand overhaul to rearchitecting the app, establishing a design system, and building a research lab from scratch, the scope was broad and foundational. It pushed us to operate with a higher level of clarity and consistency, and I'm proud of the standard we reached as a team.
Working in a startup meant the environment was dynamic — sometimes chaotic. Products shifted, priorities changed, regulations evolved, and new business lines emerged. In that constant movement, I learned that flexible, well-grounded design solutions are essential. Whether it was pivoting a product offering, reorganising the information architecture, or adapting to new regulatory requirements, we had to move quickly while keeping the experience coherent. That pace sharpened our design practice and made it more resilient.
More than the screens we shipped, the most meaningful outcome was establishing a design culture — a shared understanding across teams that design isn't an afterthought, but a strategic partner in solving complex problems. It created an environment where engineering, product, compliance and design worked with more alignment and intention. That shift is something I'm genuinely proud of.
On a personal note, I really enjoyed this chapter. I had the chance to work across brand, product, and operations, and to help shape something substantial in a short amount of time. Today, the redesigned app holds strong ratings in both app stores, customer satisfaction is up, and the product feels clearer and more trustworthy for users. If you'd like the full walkthrough — every deck, prototype, and research archive — I'd be happy to take you through it.
